Domain Theory is primarily a domain investment company, but I do provide domain acquisition strategy consulting for small and medium-sized businesses looking to either acquire a name for a new project or to upgrade from an existing name.

Fees are set on a case-by-case basis depending scope of a project.

Some of the ways I assist businesses with their domain name needs are as follows:

• Evaluation of businesses’ current domains and learning about specific needs that may require one or more new domain names.

• Valuation of a specific domain

• History and ownership of a specific domain

• Acquisition strategy

• Other possible domain alternatives (e.g. new extensions or variations on a name) to fit need with budget

• Negotiation with the domain owner or representative for one or two specific names

Should you hire Domain Theory, you will work directly with me and I will go through the same analysis that I use when purchasing domains for my portfolio. I work hard to get you the domain name you want or find one that meets your business and budgetary parameters. I will probably put in more time than I charge you for, but I love doing this work. Plus, learning how a small /medium sized businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs think about buying a domain makes me a better domain investor.
